Well guys, it's 2024! I've officially finished my A.A.S. degree, and I'm ready to start my Bachelor's at the end of this month! Even though I sound excited, I'm also hella anxious since there's so much that's going to happen...
Obviously because I'll be doing college again soon (this time, full time...), I can't make any promises or set a concise posting schedule without knowing how my classes will be first. However, I got some cool things for Christmas that'll help me out with art, which includes a new tablet!!! I finally got the HUION Kamvas 16, and it's a dream to work with! I also got a Keydial pad with it to make shortcuts easier, and I've completely forgotten that I was trying to fill a sketchbook thanks to this (LMAO)- Traditional art, what's that??? /j
Drawing's been so much more fun recently, and I'd love to actually start a webcomic. I got my hands on more Micron pens and 11 x 14 bristol board sheets because I'd like to ink my pages the old fashioned way, and I acquired a hand lettering tool for the same purpose. My handwriting's getting better in general, but this'll help with spacing! I know that I'm gushing over traditionally inked comic supplies, but I've recently discovered something new...
Very rarely do I hyperfixate on an artstyle, but I doodled this GIF of Sway3PO dressed as a maid with a G-pen brush in Clip Studio Paint without anti-aliasing, and I love it???

I've tried colored drawings similarly to this, but black and white looks a thousand times better. It looks a lot like Crusher's art style, but is there a proper name for this since I've seen other people do this? It would be easy and fun to do a webcomic like this, but I want to use my comic supplies... Speaking of, I'm considering doing a Breadwinners sequel out of all things. Why?
I'm rewatching it, and I hate how the series ended. It was obviously meant to be a season finale, but it got canned thanks to all of the angry manchildren telling others to stop watching it. I'll stop complaining now, but it's going to be 10 years since it aired in a month!!! It's been monumental to my art journey, so I'd like to do a tribute by extending the storyline. Heh, I sound like my middle school self...
Anyways, I need to draw a crap ton of animals for other people before I can do anything for it. Commissions have been tricky to obtain from strangers, but I'm grateful for those who've been following my art journey since the beginning. I'm a bit drained now from talking so much, but thank you for sticking around, and thank you for 100 Instagram followers!
